Rob was born and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia.
He went to Linsly, a local ex-military college prep school. There he played lacrosse and captained his football team.
In 2009, he went to Duke University and joined Duke University Improv (DUI). In DUI he discovered
the joys of improv comedy and filmmaking. He spent his college summers in New York City working, performing stand up, and taking improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
He graduated from Duke in May of 2013 with a B.A. in Psychology and
a Certificate in The Arts of the Moving Image. He now lives in Los Angeles.
